WELCOME...

o our July/August issue, starring the supremely talented singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin. When designer Richard Quinn recently asked her to sing at his AW23 show it was a collaboration of two great British creative forces: “Richard used a song of mine in his virtual show online during the pandemic and it was so amazing. He then invited me to perform at, is her fourth studio album and heavily influenced by her connection to nature. She is also staunchly passionate about sustainability, from the clothes that she wears to recording songs in a studio which is powered by a ground pump heat source in a field. This girl is authentic in every way and one of a few female musicians carving out their own space far removed from the manufactured pop princesses of the past. You’re more likely to see her feeding lambs on her Instagram rather than falling out of nightclubs. Hear about her Simple Life on page 22.
