It wasn’t exactly a conventional wedding ceremony. The bride, Dawn Walker, 52, was wearing a blood-red satin gown and had a red bow pinned in her jet-black hair.
The groom, Thomas Nutt, 45, who was powerfully built, filled out his grey suit, adorned with a red tie.
Both had three children from previous marriages, and Dawn was also a grandmother. They’d been together for three years, but Dawn’s family were concerned about the union.
Her sister Lisa felt that Thomas controlled Dawn and isolated her from friends and family.
