Resi 4 is an all-time classic, with creative variety and pacing that puts most modern blockbusters to shame, It still holds up brilliantly… but given Capcom ported it to every conceivable platform, we’ve had no trouble revisiting it over the years. So did it really need a remake?

Visually, we’re all and ’s more constrained settings. There’s also a stronger 'survival horror’ vibe here - not only in the visual tone, but also with new puzzle-solving elements that go beyond just glorified key-collecting.
