Reimagine a vintage vanity chair as the stand for a dainty birdbath. Remove the seat and hardware from the chair. Dry brush the frame with white exterior-grade paint. Apply an outdoor water-based polyurethane sealer when dry, if desired. Choose a terra-cotta saucer that will rest securely inside the seat frame and set it in place. Arrange stones in the center for birds to stand on and then fill the saucer with water, 2” maximum. Attach a metal dragonfly or other decorative element to the top of the chair frame.
