Alister Atkin turns out to be quite a fan of alternative comedy performer and writer Julian Barratt who created The Mighty Boosh with Noel Fielding. Perhaps lesser known is the 2016 film Mindhorn, co-written and starring Julian as Richard Thorncroft, a down on his heels ex-TV cop named Detective Bruce Mindhorn. Well, you asked.
