Fetching the dog lead from the side table, Baloo immediately jumped up from her bed joyfully.
‘Come on then my girl,’ I smiled at Baloo, hooking the lead up to her collar.
I was enjoying a caravan holiday down in Exmouth, Devon, with my parents Nita, 76, and Dave, 75, back in March 2020. For the past week, we’d been relaxing and spending some quality time as a family.
It was wonderful and taking Baloo on long walks across the fields and beaches, there was nothing quite so peaceful.
