THE Cavalex Models HAA project was first conceived in 2019 when feedback from customers indicated that strong support for a new MGR HAA model in ‘OO’ gauge was growing. It became reality in 2020 when a collaboration between Cavalex Models, KMS Railtech and Trains4U was established to produce the wagon type in various forms including the china clay CDAs. The range includes the original HAAs with hopper cross-bracing and early canopied HCAs too.
