Beat / How was contact with A. G. Cook, who runs PC Music, established in the first place?

umru / A. G. emailed me because he‘d found me on Soundcloud. I’ll still never understand why he did. I was doing such different music than I am now, it had nothing to do with PC Music’s pioneering pop maximalism of that era. I was a fan but my music was much more in the experimental bass music and “future beats” world at the time.

Beat / How did you go from that first contact to working with Charli XCX.

/ A little later, A. G. invited me to Charli’s Number 1 Angel tour show in New York.
