Jason Roberge brought his Massey Ferguson 35 to me for a cosmetic restoration. This Massey Ferguson was originally sold to Butlers Hall Farm in Essex, and Jason’s uncle and grandfather used it while they worked there. The farm grew fruit, mainly apples and pears and reared pigs. When the owner lost his money on a failed hotel deal in Malta, Jason’s grandfather bought the tractor and decided to farm pigs himself. Jason spent time on the farm and learned to drive this very tractor aged 12, so having it restored was driven by sentiment.
