Where to moor and anchor
The main harbours are often very busy in the summer and have frequent ferry traffic (watch out for ferry wash). Skiathos is the largest harbour but many berths are occupied by the charter fleets. Skopelos harbour can be dangerous to enter during strong north-westerly winds. Mediterranean mooring, stern (or bows) on to the quay, is normally required. At Patitiripossible to anchor in the bay.
