Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (2023)

Asus’ line of dual-display gaming laptops is a familiar sight in these pages, with the Zephyrus Duo 15 (see issue 320, p54) appearing twice. As the 16 in its name indicates, this year’s big upgrade is to the screen: a 240Hz mini-LED display. Asus has also bumped up to the latest chips from AMD and Nvidia, with the Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU and GeForce RTX 4090 graphics in place.

At first glance the Zephyrus Duo looks like a normal, if chunky, laptop. Asus even eschews RGB lighting for purple and pink holographic colouring on the black aluminium lid and magnesium alloy body.
