A QUILTED DIAGONAL CROSSHATCH CONTRASTS NICELY AGAINST THE STRIPS!

YOU WILL NEED

Quilt

■ Pink fabrics: eleven (11) Jelly Roll strips, or 7/8yd total

■ Green fabrics: seven (7) Jelly Roll strips, or ½yd total

■ Blue fabrics: six (6) Jelly Roll strips, or ½yd total

■ Yellow fabrics: seven (7) Jelly Roll strips, or ½yd total

■ Background fabric: one (1) Jelly Roll (thirty nine strips), or 2¾yds total

■ Backing fabric (floral): 4yds

■ Binding fabric (floral): seven (7) Jelly Roll strips, or ½yd total

■ Batting: 70in square

FINISHED SIZE

■ 66in square

NOTES

■ Seam allowances are ¼in throughout.

■ Press all seams open throughout.

■ WOF = width of fabric.

■ RST = right sides together.

■ Pattern assumes WOF is at least 42in for yardage and Jelly Rolls.

■ If you are using Jelly Roll strips and want to make matching blocks like Kathleen did, you will need two matching strips for each of the coloured segments longer than 10½in.

■ Background, backing and binding fabric supplied by Wool Warehouse (woolwarehouse.co.uk).
