National Finals Futurity and Derby

The Binnaway Multipurpose Arena looked an absolute picture when it hosted the NRCHAA Train Station Boutique Accommodation National Finals, Leather Forever Futurity and Signature Custom Floats Derby from the 16th - 19th March. Doug Edlington had a super run on his gelding Ima Cool Dual to take out the win with a 142.5. Southern girl Sallie Findlay and Legal Gun placed second, Tim O’Brien and Rose N Shine were third, David Cookson and Diesel placed fourth and equal 5th was shared between Sharon Kelly on Foohey and Todd Hensley on Smart Senorita.

Next up was the Signature Custom Floats Derby herd work before continuing on with the Open Cow Horse which was won by Quentin Stapleton on his ever talented WK Spoonfula Freckles. In equal second was Quentin and Chisums Izzy, owned by Vicki and Geoff Rofe, and his protege and keen competitor Brae Linnegar riding a horse he trained called Tocal Quinton. In equal fourth
