I can't quite believe that this is the 90th entry into the Sketchbook Travels series. This time out, in what’s apparently the granite or stone anniversary, I'm featuring finds from the Bristol Classic MotorCycle show which, as I've said many times before, never disappoints, with a fantastic selection of motorcycles displayed, much more than I had time to capture in the sketchbook. Here’s three of my favourites.
1934 New Imperial Grand Prix
Found on the New Imperial Owners Association stand, this lovely racing model was great fun to sketch. There is something about these later Grand Prix models which feature New Imperial’s own six-stud engine design, that looks just right in both form and function.
