SATURDAY MAY 6

THEIR MAJESTIES’ CORONATION

The ceremonies of state

Screening: Everywhere, all at once, from 7.00pm

It’s the second-ever televised coronation of a British monarch, which on TVNZ 1 at least, follows an entire day of royal programming. So far as the big day itself goes, it’s roughly an hour to get to the church after a 10.00pm departure, two hours of ceremony at Westminster Abbey, then an hour’s procession back. For more details, see our viewing guide on page 70.
