that's life!

Welcome

t a lunch with some friends on the weekend, conversation turned to what we were all currently watching on TV. I confessed relief that my husband Simon and I were ‘between’ thrillers., on Netflix. And we’d worked our way through all three series of the magnificent UK detective show,on SBS. So I was enjoying getting to bed early for a change! Simon and I are suckers for a good storyline and are really bad at going to bed on a cliffhanger. ‘We’ll just watch five minutes of the next episode,’ Simon will say. Inevitably, we don’t ‘just’ watch five minutes! I know I’m not alone within the team with this quirk. Jude doesn’t much go for thrillers. ‘Way too scary!’ she says. But she adores a good drama. At the moment she’s watching on Binge and managing not to lose any sleep. ‘I was like you, getting to bed late because I’d always want to watch just a bit more,’ she said. ‘But I’ve devised a system that works for me. I have a rule of stopping the episode half way through, so I don’t have to end the night on a cliffhanger.’ Perfect!
