I NEVER danced with a man who danced with a woman who danced with the Prince of Wales, but I have defended him through the years with a stubborn loyalty that resides in the world of black and white. Or, more accurately, exists in the archives of COUNTRY LIFE.
For instance, on June 26, 1997, I took issue in these pages with the vicar of St Mary the Virgin in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, who complained that the then Prince of Wales did not attend church regularly enough.
