A striking lesson in unspeakable inhumanity

While the story behind Auschwitz-Berkenau, a Nazi concentration and extermination camp in Poland, would be a history lesson for some, for guide Lukasz Lipinski it is a daily encounter with almost unfathomable inhumanity.

The camp operated during World War II and the Holocaust with the purpose of systematically exterminating Jews, Poles, Soviets, Roma, nuns, homosexuals, and Jehovah’s Witnesses.
