Comparing Seated Liberty, Britannia

Collectors of any of the classic United States silver that sports the Seated Liberty design are oftentimes aficionados of the subtle differences that can be observed as that design moves from its start in the 1830s to its demise several decades later. Drapery at elbows or lack thereof, arrows appearing and disappearing at the date, all such detail is fair game for the serious collector and the true connoisseur.
