Agbiz is concerned over the Employment Equity Amendment Act that was recently signed into law by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The new Act, which amends the Employment Equity Act of 1998, empowers the minister of employment and labour to set employment equity targets for economic sectors and prescribe demographic quotas for employers with more than 50 employees. It requires these employers to submit employment equity plans for their companies,
