How do I use CarPlay?

main ways to connect an iPhone equipped with CarPlay to your car’s infotainment system. The first is by plugging in your iPhone via your car’s built–in USB port using a USB to Lightning cable; the second is to do so wirelessly, usually via Bluetooth. Once that’s done (getting connected varies from manufacturer to manufacturer), you simply head to Settings > General > CarPlay on your iPhone, choose the name of your car, then flick the CarPlay switch to On. On the same screen, determine which apps that you have installed are also compatible with CarPlay. It will still work perfectly without it, although you may not be able to access all the apps you might expect.
