Blackpool Tramtown vision formally announced

A FOUR-PHASE vision for the future of the Rigby Road base of Blackpool’s Heritage Trams has been formally unveiled.

Tours of the 1935-built depot building, branded as Blackpool Tramtown, have proved consistently successful since they were introduced in September 2021 and, with the support of Blackpool Council and Blackpool Transport, £800,000 of funding has been secured for the first stages
