Communities afraid of wild animals escaping

HLUHLUWE-IMFOLOZI PARK

Residents from the community surrounding the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park (HIP) in northern KwaZulu-Natal say they are afraid to step out of their homes for fear of being attacked by wild animals. They claim this has put their livelihoods at stake.
