Probe as colonel, cop shot dead
The shooting of a Mpumalanga cop allegedly by his fellow colleague is under investigation.
Colonel Seeny Thaver, 55, was allegedly shot dead by Sergeant Patrick Ngwenyama, 35, in the Bester Brown building in Mbombela on Wednesday.
It was claimed that Ngwenyama then turned the gun on himself.
