Alongside the Carrera 3.2 Clubsport from the G series and the 911 Carrera 4 Lightweight from the 964 generation, the air-cooled model series of the Porsche 911 includes another extremely rare 911 that’s almost unknown, even to experts. This is the homologation version of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Only 17 examples of this Carrera RSH – where the H stands for homologation – were ever produced.

All Carrera RS 2.7 cars were ultimately based on the RSH version. A list price of 34,000 Deutsche Marks (DM) was therefore set in August 1972. After completion, the vehicles had to be driven to Stuttgart’s
