’Tis the season to be jolly… and thank goodness for that, because never have we needed a good laugh more. Which is why we decided there was only one centennial takeover is now a tradition. Issue 100 was made by readers, 200 by celebs, 300 by MPs, 400 by robots and 500 by Olympians. In the literal (and metaphorical) grey that has dominated this year, we all agreed the only thing left to do was chase the joy. So this issue is an upbeat swansong to a rollercoaster of a year, and if you even get a slither of the fun that we had creating it, you’re in for a treat. From our beauty shoot with Rylan, who had the team crying happy tears while testing home scents, to a swearing lesson with Miriam Margolyes, and the joyful hysteria of watching Jamie Demetriou () curl up into a ball to hide from a concrete pigeon in our fashion shoot, each of our 32 hilarious contributors (see over page) has sprinkled this issue with cheer and we couldn’t love them more.
