But no longer. Thanks to a rising awareness of the cost of clothing, the “preloved” clothing market is booming and there are big bucks to be made.
In 2022 alone the sector generated $182,4 billion (R3,3 trillion) worldwide and that number is expected to increase by 16% over the next four years.
