Spring was in the air as 80 ploughmen and their tractors took to the field at. The match took place on March 26 at Norton Farm in Condover, near Shrewsbury. It was also the debut of a new class dubbed ‘Classic World Style, 2 Furrow Conventional’. “The intention is to provide a class for the older type ploughs,” organiser Robert Ball explained. “These ploughs either don’t have a class or are now considered un-competitive in the modern world style open class.”
