Let me take you back to a day in late September last year. My 87th birthday was just around the corner and I was another step closer to being a nonagenarian. I had managed to persuade some of my work colleagues that their company would be much appreciated while I tested my continued ability. The challenge on this day? To ride my age in kilometres.
