THE HEALING GARDEN

Twenty-two years ago, while Tracy Lansdell was studying naturopathy in the city, she and husband Mark began to feel a strong pull back to the country.

Tracy had fond childhood memories of her grandparents’ farm near Yealering in the Western Australian Wheatbelt. She remembers their vegie patch and orchard, the farmhouse pantry filled with homemade preserves and eating juicy oranges straight off the tree with her grandad.

Perhaps that’s why, years later, she and Mark started devouring all the info they could find on organic gardening, permaculture, self-sufficiency and eco footprints.
