A life in colour

At first glance, Lady Deirdre Dyson's west London showroom could easily be mistaken for a Soho gallery. The converted house nestled on the border of Chelsea and Fulham showcases three storeys of high-ceilinged, light-filled, open-plan spaces, with elegant panelled flooring and smart white walls. Each level is fitted with a contrasting black façade with cleverly crafted brackets that enable the rug designer's colourful carpets to slide out and hang in full, displayed like a work of art.
