Diet for my breeding redpolls

I DON'T make any massive changes to my birds' diets in the lead-up to the breeding season. The general blend I give them is based on a goldfinch/siskin mix and since it includes most of what condition seed has in it, I don't really bother with extra condition seed. I buy the two mixes separately and when the birds are in the aviary they get much more goldfinch, as it has a higher fat/oil content.
