Turkington shows his class with two wins

Despite Saturday’s howling gale, which blunted speed on the Senna Straight but provided a tail wind on the Bentley Straight, 300 Classic Sports Car Club competitors enjoyed fine racing on Snetterton’s 300 circuit. Four-time British Touring Car champion Colin Turkington, racing Mark Smith’s Amspeed BMW E36 M3 Evo for the first time, demonstrated his class by dominating the Slicks Series solo race and relaying Smith to gold in its pitstop sequel.
