or some reason, the first time I watchedI got it confused with Cage’s (also awesome) 2018 blood-soaked cult revenge thriller and expected to be watching some kind of psychedelic horror led by a pig. But it’s more like an extremely beautiful version of, if John Wick’s wife had given him a pig before she died instead of a dog. In , we meet Cage as a solitary, filthy figure living in a shack, and witness his journey to claw back the things that give his life meaning. What follows is a phenomenal Nic is, in my humble opinion, one of his best performances.
