It’s not big news that there are thousands of people out there who would love to get their hands on a Split Screen Camper these days. But, with values spiralling over the last 20 years, the reality is unfortunately less likely for many. Even the window of opportunity for importing one from the USA has steadily closed, impacted by global shipping costs, the decreasing value of the pound and a significant jump in asking prices over the pond. Yes folks, I’m afraid they’re onto us!
That said, there is still the occasional glimmer of hope of finding a project Bus for under £20,000. Insert roll-eyes emoji here. If you’re high on self-confidence and don’t care what the majority of other Split owners think, you could always pick up a Fleetline. It still baffles me why these are looked down upon. Out on the road, with the wind whistling through your leaky seals, who really cares which country
