West side story

Each February, the journey west sees me arrive at the Royal Bath and West Showground, home to the Bristol Classic Motorcycle show. I’ve been attending every year since 2001; my first visit was when I was still a student in Bristol, then every year subsequently in a ‘professional capacity.’ Professional capacity meaning I wander round looking at old motorcycles, deciding which I’d find space for in my dream garage, just as I did at my first attendance of the event. Some things don’t change, though of course others do.
