Cage & Aviary Birds

A day (and a bit) with Daniel

BUDGERIGARS

IT HAD been three years since I had been to see Daniel – just before covid hit. I went by plane, then, from Gatwick to Zürich: literally, a flying visit. I was blown away by the birdroom and more importantly by the quality of the birds. Then the pandemic arrived. I'd been desperate to make another visit.

This time I went with Alan Pearson from Coventry. Alan had just bought a new Tesla fully electric car, so that added somewhat to the planning!

Everything was organisedthe way down and three times on the way back. Each charge took about 30 minutes, so it gave us time for something to eat and a coffee. It was also much cheaper than petrol or diesel.
