PEACHES AND CREAM SWEET ROLLS

This delicious flavor combination is right at home in these pillow-soft sweet rolls that can be enjoyed at any time of day.

1 cup warm water (105° to 110°)
⅔ cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
1 (0.25-ounce) package active dry yeast
3 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
1¾ teaspoons kosher salt, divided
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1½ cups finely chopped fresh peaches (about 2 medium)
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
2 tablespoons whole milk, room temperature
¼ cup confectioners’ sugar

1. In a small bowl, combine 1 cup warm water, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, and yeast. Let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes.
