WINNING LETTER

Balancing act

My husband Johannes and I visited Namibia last year. We did a guided game drive in Okonjima Nature Reserve near Otjiwarongo. This young female leopard was in the northern part of the reserve - what a sighting!

Our guide told us she was only nine months old. She climbed to the top of the anthill to scan for prey. After she'd had a good look around, she leapt off and lay down behind a tree.

Our guide was excellent. He knew the common and scientific names of every shrub, bird and animal. We've travelled extensively over the years but this moment is something I'll remember forever.
