Northern Ireland

This unsung hero of a touring destination has become increasingly popular in recent years, not least because of its prominence as a filming location – think Titanic, Derry Girls and Game of Thrones.

Northern Ireland's natural beauty is quite simply breathtaking, and its great towns and cities have plenty of attractions to entertain visitors of all ages.

In the country The Mourne Mountains are a famed Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in County Down, offering excellent cycling and hiking. Head for the Silent Valley to see the deep blue reservoir, or follow the 31km route along the Mourne Wall.

By the water The Causeway Coast will undoubtedly top many people's list of places to see in Northern Ireland. The main attraction is, of course, the basalt columns of the Giant's Causeway itself, but there are also craft trails, foodie events and fantastic walks. For a different view, take a three-hour cruise on the River Bann with White River Charters.
