Family fruit trees

You don’t need a huge space to grow fruit trees – compact varieties grow well in containers. Many apples and pears need a pollinator, so, if space is limited try a self-fertile variety that fruits on its own. You could also try a ‘family’ or ‘duo’ plants, with two or three varieties grafted onto a single tree. Use a container of at least 45-60cm
