Sue’s story
Sue Horobin is a home potter who is currently undergoing cancer treatment. While having counselling, Sue came to the realisation that she needed to share her love of all things clay with others, and although able to be creative at home, she was lacking inspiration.
“Before my diagnosis, I was trialling an idea of offering pottery sessions to friends from my home studio and had a few sessions under my belt. Then the diagnosis came, and life stopped for a while. Holidays were cancelled, endless waiting for referrals to consultants took their place, and it was a low period.
