Reset your audio settings

Windows gives you plenty of options to customise your computer’s audio settings to suit your preferences, but it’s easy to reset them if you want to start again.

In Windows 10 press Windows key+I to open Settings, then click Sound on the left. Scroll down the main pane on the in our screenshot below) to restore them to Microsoft’s defaults. You’ll see a message in red below confirming this .
