1997 HONDA CB250

Q: I have a 1997 Honda CB250 and it has a carb heater fitted. Do we need them? Many say they are not needed in the UK and replacement heaters do seem very hard to find. The CMSNL site shows the carb heater on the carburettor diagram but there is no listing for the part.

I had a look at the ones I have (I have two) and neither seemed to work. On closer inspection, the wires seemed to have broken off from the heaters. I have soldered the wires back in place and am now getting a
