Behind every successful festival is a fabulous handbag. Since 2014, patrons of the event have carried home their swag in a luxurious leather Brahmin bag.

Bill and Joan Martin launched the designer handbag company in 1982; it has since become a well-known and much-loved brand. Brahmin, family-owned and operated until 2018, has always subscribed to philanthropy as a main tenet of business.

In 2006, the Martins became full-time residents of Naples. Although their brand remains headquartered in Massachusetts, they found charitable opportunities in their new community.

“We had been attending the Naples Winter Wine Festival for several years when we were asked to consider contributing the bags presented to all guests,” remarks Joan. “That was a no-brainer for me as we loved the charity. I loved the opportunity to design something that was just
