The critical early part of the season

PARROTS

RAINBOW lorikeets on the coasts of Australian carry out their breeding activity from June until January. However, at Loro Parque Fundación, although some pairs may be active breeding virtually all year round, most begin breeding in late December and continue until early summer.

For most parrot species, the courtship phase will take place in the early months of the year. And that brings changes for the birds. The keeper must be vigilant because it is normal for males to respond
