At the press launch in Sardinia in November last year, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 had impressed, nay, bewitched me. I finished the presentation together with one of my buddies racing the Italian Twins side by side on a dirt road as if we were fighting for the Rally World Championship. The balance of the chassis, the ergonomics and the ease of controlling the bike in borderline situations such as drifting or racing through rough trails – of course with all electronic assistance switched off – left a remarkable first impression of this adventure bike.
