On the job — no sex please, we’re ferrets

If I had to describe the bunch of likely lads I was out with recently, I would say they are characters joined together by their love of dogs and rabbiting. I had complete confidence in them, so I was happy to take a backward step. I provided no dogs nor ferrets; instead my job was to lay and lift nets, do the odd dig and chip in as the head of locations. I knew the land well and this position suited me because I could enjoy a full day ferreting with friends.
