The UK’s only dedicated historic motorsport show, Race Retro at Stoneleigh, was running after three years’ absence thanks first to Covid and then to venue issues.
Once again the enthusiasm for all branches of historic motorsport was clear to see as thousands of visitors packed out the event. Undoubtedly, this was a cut-down Race Retro compared to previous editions with fewer stands and a significantly reduced hall space reflecting the current challenging climate for suppliers, promoters and exhibitors.
