‘I dress to make myself feel good’

Tracey Jardine lives in Spalding with her children Anja, 19, and Ryan, 17.

A lot can be said for a pop of colour. Bold, vibrant shades are youthful – it’s beige and greys that can age you.

When it comes to how I dress, I’m not afraid to experiment with bright colours and patterns and, although I’m in my 40s, I certainly don’t shy away from crop tops or shorts. In fact, my dress sense is one of the main reasons I appear younger than I actually am.

In my 30s, I was a lot heavier and weighed 16st. I wore a dress size 22 and covered up in drab beige cardigans.
